Traffic Clerk in Baytown, TX

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and continuously update the PBP check in Spreadsheet for drivers dropping containers or picking up containers or live loads.

• Verify Building and door for live loads and inform the shipping supervisor for that building that the driver is here and confirm the door to which to send them.

• Verify which building and door to send inbound supplies with the Supply coordinator.

• Verify the container number, booking number and the customer order number when a driver brings a container to drop or live load and confirm the driver input correctly into the PBP check in spreadsheet.

• Input the container number into the WMS.

• Verify the Seal number on a container / truck leaving PBP matches what is in the WMS system before the driver leaves.

• Creating BOL’s for outbound shipments and having drivers sign.

• Send the BOL’s to customers / carriers / CSR for outbound shipments.

• Notify the carrier for rejected containers and send them the pictures.

• If Bulk trucks loading / unloading – verify scale heavy/light tare weights. Create an outbound BOL with all weights noted.

• Maintains the Confidentiality of the company information. 

Maintenance Technician - Baytown

Job Description

• Ability to operate, perform “basic and routine maintenance,” and troubleshoot equipment which includes the following physical activities: climbing, standing, bending, twisting and moving around stairs, ladders, platforms and various packaging and processing equipment.

• Maintenance of equipment based on written documentation pertaining to the job, including documenting all maintenance and work orders using the companies' Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) program.

General experience and responsibilities:

• Responsible for working directly with the Maintenance Supervisor to maintain satisfactory up-time and optimum utilization of equipment.
• Help create and document preventative maintenance program procedures on all capital equipment
• Ability to develop specifications and makes recommendations on auxiliary and other equipment purchases o Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of all facility and production equipment
• Ability to operate mobile equipment such as scissor lifts, forklifts, etc.
• Maintains appropriate documentation of maintenance schedules, equipment installations, structural repairs and work orders and other operating reports for facility
• Maintains maintenance budget including monitoring inventory and expenses
• Performs other related tasks and duties as assigned
• On call, if needed, for any maintenance related issues that could impact company's ability to meet customer commitment.
• Responsible for maintaining calibration of controls and to ensure company requirements and up-times are met.
• Responsible for providing technical assistance on all things related to facility maintenance including electrical systems, building construction, plumbing, etc.

Job Specifics:

Skilled worker with a thorough knowledge of procedures and processes associated with supply, storage, and distribution functions in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will be responsible for inbound orders, outbound orders, inventory management, storage and accurate documentation of packaged material from a conveyor line.

Experience Requirements:

Must have at least 2 years of reach truck experience in shipping & receiving warehouse environment.

Job duties:

• Take packaged material from line to container

• Inspect container before loading

• Transfer heavy material to production line when needed

• Ensure all dock operations are performed in a safe matter

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment

• Occasionally assist the production line with special projects

• Inspect equipment daily and frequently

Pay rate: $17.00 per hour.

Schedule: Monday- Friday; Saturday as required.

Rotating Shift 6:00am to 6:00pm and 6:00pm to 6:00am.

Maintenance Technician – Baytown, TX

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain package equipment and conveying equipment, including palletizers, FFS bag packaging equipment, stretch wrappers and stretch hooding equipment.
• Maintain warehouse including dock doors, painting, welding, plumbing and small concrete jobs.
• Rebuild any machinery that can be rebuilt for the packaging machine.
• Provide own common hand tools needed for daily mechanic work.
• Other duties may be assigned.

REQUIRED COMPENTENCIES:

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to supervision.
• Understand the operation of the FF&S packaging line.
• Work in conjunction with operations on daily operational mechanical related issues.
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
• Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment as required by manufacturer.
• Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
• Perform general and routine maintenance inside and outside the building.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Fix potential safety hazards to avoid incidents.
